ABOUT 3 EAST

3 East is a new movement in Fantasy Football.  We are a group of individuals looking to help bring some new views to the community.  It is our promise to keep the blog as current and interesting as possible.  You may not agree with our opinions or analysis but that's the beauty of the Fantasy Football world.  Below is a little bit about the main editors Mike and Mark, and we are fully willing to bring on new contributors provided they are committed and show the same enthusiasm we do.

Mike - Spending his younger years in Catasauqua PA, Mike always had a special interest in the NFL.  As time went on his interest turned into obsession when he was introduced to the world of Fantasy Football in 2005.  Now a member of the United States Air Force and stationed in Langley VA, Mike competes in up to six FFB leagues a year and has perennial success.  While he acknowledges and even competes in other fantasy sports, football is where his true passion lies.  With a wife, son, and another son on the way, Mike hopes to spread his FFB knowledge and passion to his kids one day.     

Mark - Like Mike, Mark grew up in the small town of Catasauqua, PA.  His love for sports started at an early age as his dad caught him everything he needed to know as he grew up.  Still living in the Lehigh Valley, Mark works a menial job, but spends most of his hours watching or thinking about sports; both real and fantasy.  He was introduced to fantasy football while attending Bloomsburg University in 2002 and has been heavily addicted ever since.  "Some years tend to be better than others, but overall, I'd consider my knowledge of the fantasy sports world pretty well rounded," says Mark.  He competes in all types of fantasy leagues, but football is by far his favorite.  His ideal future is to start a family someday soon and pass on the knowledge his father blessed him with.
